As a charity, Something to Look Forward To supported Vicky Saynor and her family when she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019.

Vicky, aka Mrs Bec (also known as Gammy Tit) has triumphed at the 2019 National Women's Business Awards winning Business Woman Of The Year - Micro!
 

Sadly, we were not able to make it down to London to receive the award but we are so thrilled to have all of her hard work acknowledged, especially at the end of what has been such a difficult year.

A year ago this month, Mrs Bec aka Vicky found a lump in her right breast that turned our families world upside down.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and to celebrate the end of active treatment we will be donating 5% off all bookings received throughout October to Coppafeel & True Cancer Bodies,  these two charities are very close to our heart at Bethnal&Bec.

Coppafeel! encourages early detection by checking your breasts thoroughly and regularly. True Cancer Bodies was set up by Mrs Bec when undergoing Chemotherapy and is an incredible platform and support for anyone affected by cancer.

Knebworth Barns provided the glamourous setting for the awards, where finalists across 17 different categories demonstrated why the county is renowned for its business excellence.

We had a wonderful evening celebrating with the best of the best in Herts.
