The Joys of our Bec Retreat

  • The unique bath for two enjoys views of the surrounding  Hertfordshire countryside through the postbox window.

  • The bathroom has a luxurious walk in rainforest shower with complimentary Shower Gel / Shampoo / Conditioner & Bubble Bath.

  • Towels, waffle robes and slippers are provided to enjoy throughout your getaway. 

  • Mood lighting & underfloor heating give you the ultimate comfort controls throughout your stay

  • Complementary superfast Wi-Fi

  • The 43" Smart TV is set up to enjoy Netflix, BBC iPlayer or log into your Amazon Prime account.

  • Our vinyl record player can be paired with the Bluetooth speaker provided, to enjoy our eclectic range of music in your retreat or in the outdoor bath.

  • Bec also boasts a cinema projector screen that can be watched from the comfort of your bed!

  • Talking of the bed, it's a super comfort king size bed complete with luxury Egyptian cotton sheets.

  • The self catering kitchen features a toaster, kettle, hob, oven/microwave, fridge and freezer. Plates, cutlery & cook ware provided

  • Although we are self-catering accommodation we know that catering for yourself can take the relaxation levels down a notch. That's why we offer our Bethnal & Bec staples pantry as standard and our unique In-Room Honesty Pantry system. The honesty pantry contains a large selection of snacks, drinks, frozen meals, ice creams and locally made Gin & Vodka, you just pay for what you enjoy via our honesty system in your in-retreat ipad. 

  • A breakfast Box packed with locally sourced produce will be provided within your retreat on arrival. You select your favourites to be included when you book. 

  • Plus we have our very popular pre-order Dine-In food from making your own pizza to delicious locally farmed gourmet burgers.

  • And not forgetting that Bec is a dog friendly retreat so your pooch can get comfy and relax too. You might even find some doggy treats in the honesty pantry. 

Outside your Retreat

  • What luxury getaway is complete without a hot tub? Bec has a private outdoor Whirlpool bath for you to enjoy as much as you like throughout your staycation. Take in the views of the countryside whilst relaxing in the bubbles, maybe with a tipple too. 

  • Bec has a private fenced garden (with stock fencing for pet friendliness) and beautiful views over the Hertfordshire countryside.

  • There is a double daybed that you can enjoy in the summer months, or use to sit on around the fire-pit in the winter.

  • Enjoy breakfast or dinner from your patio table for two.

  • Private undercover parking is provided in our car port.

Are you looking for a Dog Friendly Staycation?

Both our Bethnal & Bec luxury retreats are dog friendly meaning that you can escape on a UK Staycation and bring the dog (or dogs) along too.  â€‹

You'll be able to enjoy all of our luxury features that will give you an extra special staycation and the dog can take advantage too. In addition to our human luxuries your pooch can enjoy our doggy pack, doggy blankets and towels, endless walks in the Hertfordshire countryside and a warm outside dog shower for muddy paws.
